Swedish technology company Handheld was founded in 1997, when Jerker Hellström became the owner of the Swedish unit of international corporation Husky Computers. With the entry of the new co-owner Thomas Löfblad in 2003, the company focused on the global market and from the distribution also to a production of smart rugged mobile devices. Today, the company offers a wide range of robust smartphones and tablets and has a network of partner companies worldwide. In Slovenia, Handheld is represented by the company Meter ing, Ltd.
